AI consulting

A straight answer about what AI can do for your business

The market is loud, and most of what a business owner hears about AI is either a vendor pitch or a headline. Consulting, as we run it, is short and concrete: we look at how your business actually works, identify where an AI system would genuinely earn its keep, put rough effort and cost against each, and say plainly which ideas are not worth doing. You end with a decision, not a deck.

This engagement suits you if

  • You are being pitched AI by several vendors and want an independent read
  • You want to know the realistic cost before committing
  • You have ideas internally and need them sorted by what is actually feasible

The work

What the engagement covers

01

Process review

We follow how work actually moves through your business, not how the org chart says it does.

02

Opportunity shortlist

The handful of places AI would genuinely help, ranked by value and difficulty.

03

What to ignore

An explicit list of AI ideas that would not pay off for you, and why.

04

Effort and sequencing

Rough effort for each, and a sensible order to attempt them in.

05

Build-or-buy view

Where an off-the-shelf tool beats anything custom, we will tell you which one.

Our recommendations come from operating this technology commercially — including knowing which AI features we tried and chose not to ship.

How it runs

The sequence we follow

  1. 01

    Find the job

We look for one repetitive, text-heavy job with a clear right answer. Not a strategy deck — a job.

  2. 02

    Design the agent

What it decides, what data it can read, which tools it can call, where it must stop and ask a person.

  3. 03

    Build and connect

The agent, grounded in your own data, wired into the systems it needs — CRM, WhatsApp, sheets, accounting.

  4. 04

Deploy with a human in the loop

It goes live handling a slice of the work, with a person reviewing what it does before the loop widens.

  5. 05

    Operate and improve

We watch traces of real behaviour and tighten it. An agent is a system you run, not a project you finish.

FAQ

Common questions

Is this a paid engagement or a sales call?

The first conversation is free and genuinely useful. A full process review is a paid engagement, because doing it properly takes real time with your team.

Will you recommend your own products?

Only where they fit, and we will say when they do not. Our products serve specific jobs; recommending them for a job they do not fit would cost us more than it earns.

What do we get at the end?

A short written shortlist: what to do, in what order, roughly what it takes, and what to drop. Written for a decision-maker, not for a technical audience.
